Lighting Designer
Alchemy Concert Systems, an Aspen, Colorado-based Event Production Company is seeking an experienced Lighting Designer for a freelance position.
Essential Job Functions:
Design, program and operate lighting systems for:
Corporate events, Private parties, Weddings, Live sound stages
Interface with full-time and part-time staff, clients and vendors
Supervise equipment load-in and load-out of crews up to 12 people
Required Experience:
Minimum 4 years prior lighting experience
Working knowledge of conventional and moving lights
Working knowledge of major lighting consoles (GrandMA, Hog, Chamsys, etc)
Ability to generate CAD renderings and plot and patch diagram
Helpful Additional Experience:
Experience with rigging equipment and practices including (but not limited to):
Chain motors, box truss, rigged and ground supported structures
Detailed knowledge of power distribution from shore or generator
Knowledge of video playback systems
Skills Required:

Strong leadership, communication and professional appearance & demeanor
Ability to take initiative. Drug free.
Excellent organizational, logistical and time-management skills

Alchemy Concert Systems, an Aspen, Colorado-based Event Production Company is seeking Part-Time A/V Technicians and Stagehands for the 2019 Summer season.

Experience is preferred, but not necessary. We will train!
Training occurs May 14th & 15th. Pay starts at $18/hour.
Essential Job Functions:
Truck load and unload
Event setup and teardown (strike)
Rig lighting fixtures
Setup PAs and other speakers
Backline setup (musical instruments)

Audio Engineer
Alchemy Concert Systems, an Aspen, Colorado-based Event Production Company is seeking an experienced Audio Engineer for a full-time, year-round leadership position.
Essential Job Functions:
Design, configure, build and operate modern audio systems for:
Corporate events, Private parties, Weddings, Live sound stages
Engineer both Front-of-House and Monitor mixes
Interface with full-time and part-time staff, clients and vendors
Supervise equipment load-in and load-out of crews up to 12 people
Build systems and equipment, create logs and update software at warehouse facility
Troubleshoot and repair systems and equipment
Required Experience:
Minimum 4 years prior audio engineering experience
Experience with backline gear
Knowledge of lighting, video, staging systems a plus
Working knowledge of major audio consoles (M32, QL5, Avid Profile)
Experience with rigging equipment and practices including (but not limited to):
Chain motors, box truss, rigged and ground supported structures
Detailed knowledge of power distribution from shore or generator
Ability to drive up to 26ft box trucks (non-CDL)
